English Spanish Dictionary App Reviews

This is an excellent source for physicians working with Spanish-speaking patients. It is very accurate and thorough. At times I have to look a little deeper or come at it from different angles to get the answer Im looking for but I usually find it. This is superb for medical terminology but just like working with anything else it helps to use other sources to supplement this text. I personally use this text along with Google translate to compose my own statements to use in the office. I have customized over 100 pages of information that has been very useful in my practice. It took a fair amount of work but its been absolutely worth it in the quality of my interaction with patients and in the speed it adds to the office visits. I highly recommend this text.

I dont know how many Spanish-English dictionaries Ive tried. They invariably have fallen short, until I found this one. If you need a word, you will find it here. The search for the best ap is over. This takes it hands down.

This has become my "go to" Spanish dictionary. You can look up a conjugated verb, not just an infinitive. But best of all, you can look up colloquialisms! Many times when reading, I come across a group of words that make no sense together. But if I look them up here, more times than not, there they are, with the colloquial meaning in English. This dictionary isnt perfect. For instance, when looking up a colloquialism, oftentimes one must change it to the infinitive version before finding it. Heres an example: you wont find "quedó mal", but you will find "quedar mal." Also, I would like more extensive examples of words being used in sentences. But this is still a very unique and helpful resource. You can mark difficult words or phrases and sort them into categories you have created. Then drill on them. Very useful. Highly recommended.

This is my go to app for everything. If I need to know what a word means it give me the meaning, pictures, examples in sentence ,and the antonyms of the word......I love it.

If youre looking for comprehensive vocabulary and a user-friendly interface, this is the app to use.

I like how easy and accurate the app often gets with words.

Its most outstanding feature is the large number of idiomatic expressions--all those phrases that you cant decipher by looking up all the individual words. That feature alone makes it worth every penny of the price.

This app lives on my MacBook Pro, my iPad and my iPhone, all of which I use to read and write in Español. I use it in class, at home...whenever I need another way to express myself, or when I find a verbal construction I have not seen before, as well as just a great bilingual dictionary.

I love how it works offline.

This is a fantastic Spanish dictionary, reference and learning app all rolled into one. Love the new improvements. Its always getting better. Highly recommend.

I am learning Spanish now and have found this app to be indispensable. I can enter any Spanish or English word in whatever form (conjugated or plural) and it finds the right entry. Fantastic! This puts my German dictionary to shame! I had to take away two stars. The last two or three versions continually crash after unlocking my 3rd gen iOS 6 iPod. Too bad. Update: I now have an iPhone 5s and the app is back to five stars.

This has pretty much every word and phrase and you can look up phrases. You can look up conjugated verbs and is a great deal. A must have for anybody serious about learning Spanish or improving their Spanish

Easy to use, customizable, I love the ability to put words into a favorites list and study them with flashcards later.

Wouldve written a review before this but the fact is that I spend so much studying spanish and using this app, that I havent had time to actually write a review. This is hands-down the best spanish dictionary Ive ever used, and the most used app on both my iphone and ipad.

I use this dictionary every day, reading Spanish novels. The makers keep improving it, and when I reported a bug, it was fixed right away. Ive tried several of the free apps - this one is definitely worth the price.

Excellent app for not just student but everyone who travel a lot like business people, writers... I would recommend to anyone, any levels.
