English Spanish Dictionary App Reviews

Im a native English speaker and a good but not native Spanish speaker. I like that this dictionary often includes many alternate meanings of various words. Each entry could be cleaned up a bit when looking for alternate meanings (look is a touch cluttered), but its its still good. Love all the synonyms in both languages, and that each is an cruce link that will take you directly to each entry. There are a number of example phrases with each entry, but I would like to see those expanded for each meaning (but this is a dictionary as opposed to a specific phrase dictionary). There are also verb conjugations, but Ive not used those as much. Ive enjoyed the app overall. Definitely worth the money compared to some cheaper dictionaries I had tried.

Excellent! I use this dictionary every day throughout the day on my iPhone or iPad and find it very user friendly. One of the best uses is being able to look up phrases. Well worth the money!

Best dictionary for challenging translations.

The content is excellent. However, airport to the app which do not work well with iOS voiceo oVer. On balance, this is the best Spanish English dictionary for people with visual disabilities

This great app allows me to learn and understand new Spanish words. My vocabulary has improved.

I really like this dictionary. I think its great for those who have a very good grasp of both languages since sometimes you need to be able to decide which meaning to choose based on the context.

This is a first-rate app. The dictionary is in fact very nearly comprehensive--at least for words in Spanish--and is very easy to use. Ive seldom experienced any sort of technical glitch. Excellent!

The most difficult and unusual words are in this dictionary.

I like the fact that when you have looked up a word you can add it to your favourites and then run the flash cards on those favourites to help you learn rather than just keep looking up. I also like the examples of where the word is used in sentenses. It is worth the money

Superb dictionary. Provides audio all of the words. Most thorough and complete dictionary that I have found. Also does a great job of handling a few basic phrases and conjugations.

Tried another highly reviewed dictionary for 2 years. One day, I search a not uncommon Spanish noun, itself not a regionalism, and could not find it. Bought this excelling app and am amazed by its breadth and function. It appears to be the best of all.

This $25 dictionary provides everything I could possibly need when looking up a word. Definitions, pronunciation, usage, etc. and I dont need wi-fi! Love it!

I have several Spanish/English dictionaries - and this is by far the best. I have found accurate translations for every word I have ever looked up (including slang). It is also incredibly quick and easy to use - no need to specify whether you are looking for a Spanish-to-English or an English-to-Spanish translation. I have yet to explore some features, but it is now my go-to dictionary. Love it!
